Georgia plays host to a four-game set with Northern Colorado starting Friday at Foley Field. First pitch will be at 3:02 p.m. The Bulldogs (12-1) are enjoying one of the best starts in school history in this year one of the Wes Johnson era. Sophomore All-America Charlie Condon headlines an offense that leads the NCAA with 35 home runs. He ranks among the national leaders with a .531 batting average, nine home runs, 17 RBI.Georgia's best start in the modern era came in 2009 when the Bulldogs raced out to a 14-0 mark. After the UNC series, the Bulldogs will have played 17 games, and the 2009 bunch was 15-2 at that point. The 1992 and 2019 squads were 15-2 after 17 games as well.

The No. 48 Georgia men's tennis team returns to the Dan Magill Tennis Complex for a pair of doubleheaders this weekend featuring two conference matches. The Bulldogs will host No. 21 Alabama on Friday at 2 p.m. ET and take on South Carolina State in the day's second match, while on Sunday the team plays No. 35 Auburn at 1 p.m. and Georgia State at 5 p.m.

After opening Southeastern Conference action 2-0, the No. 10 Georgia women's tennis team will remain on the road for the weekend to face No. 18 Florida on Friday, March 8 at 5 p.m. ET in Gainesville, Fla., followed by No. 22 South Carolina on Sunday, March 10 at 1 p.m. ET. in Columbia, S.C.

The No. 28-ranked Georgia women's golf team will return to the course on Friday when the Bulldogs begin play at the Valspar Augusta Invitational at Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta. The tournament was originally scheduled for Saturday and Sunday but was pushed up a day due to the weather forecast on Saturday. No. 1 Wake Forest headlines field in Augusta, which features six top-25 teams including No. 5 South Carolina, No. 12 Auburn, No. 16 Clemson, No. 14 Ole Miss and No. 21 Florida State. Rounding out the competing schools are Alabama, Augusta, Coastal Carolina, Georgia, Louisville, Furman, Georgia Southern, Michigan, Oklahoma State, South Florida and Virginia Tech.

The Georgia gymnastics team travels to face No. 7 Michigan on Friday, March 8 at 7 p.m. at the Crisler Center in Ann Arbor. 

The 11th-ranked Lady Bulldogs  and the 14th-ranked Georgia men made the trip to Boston, N.M., on Wednesday before the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships begin on Friday and continue through Saturday in The Track at New Balance.  The Lady Bulldogs have finished in the top 10 at the NCAA Indoor Championships for eight out of the last 11 completed seasons (2020 season was canceled prior to Nationals because of the pandemic), including their run to a national championship in 2018. The Georgia men have been in the top 10 for six straight completed seasons (not counting the shortened 2020 campaign), have been in the top three three different times out of the last five NCAA meets (2018, 2021, 2023) and scored their most points in meet history (40) with their record-setting runner-up finish last year.    

No. 7/6 Georgia softball returns home to host the 15th Annual Bulldog Classic this weekend at Jack Turner Stadium. The 10-game tournament featuring Miami (Ohio), Jacksonville State, and Furman begins Friday, March 8.

A trio of Bulldogs on the No. 4 University of Georgia equestrian team have earned Southeastern Conference Rider of the Month honors following Georgia's three-straight Top-five wins over SEC foes throughout February, the conference announced Thursday. Junior Catalina Peralta was recognized for her Fences rides and senior Hannah Jane Lucas earned the distinction in Reining.  Senior Sophia Pilla, who was also recognized by the National Collegiate Equestrian Association earlier this week, was awarded SEC Flat Rider of the Month as well.  The Bulldogs finished the regular season with a 8-4 record and compete in the SEC Championship March 29-30 in College Station, Texas.
