Woof™..........

Baseball and Softball won all weekend like I said last night. Baseball plays Iowa Tuesday at Foley Field while Softball plays Tech this Wednesday in Athens.

Former Georgia Bulldog Bailey Tardy fired a final-round 65 on Saturday en route to capturing her first LPGA victory – the Blue Bay LPGA at Jian Lake Blue Bay Golf Course. Tardy, who played for Georgia from 2015-19, entered the final round tied with Lydia Ko and Sarah Schmelzel at 12-under before closing with her low round of the week, 7-under, to win by four strokes.

Despite trailing for the first time in seven matches, the No. 10 Georgia women's tennis team capped off its five-match road trip with a comeback 4-2 victory over No. 22 South Carolina at the Carolina Tennis Center on Sunday. The victory extends the Bulldogs' (9-3, 4-0 SEC) winning streak to seven matches, now going 2-0 against the Gamecocks (9-4, 1-3 SEC) this season while improving to 54-17 all-time against South Carolina.

The No. 48 Georgia men's tennis team split its doubleheader on Sunday afternoon, sweeping Georgia State, 4-0, after dropping a 4-3 decision to No. 35 Auburn at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.

Senior diver Meghan Wenzel earned her third-consecutive NCAA Championships berth as competition began Sunday at the 2024 NCAA Zone B Diving Championships at Bauerle Pool at Gabrielsen Natatorium. With Wenzel's qualification, 13 members of the Georgia women's swimming and diving team will stay home for the NCAA Championships. The NCAA Zone B Championships continue Monday with the men's 1-meter and women's 3-meter events. The men's session begins at 11 a.m., followed by the women's round at 3:15 p.m. The top seven men's finalists and top eight women's finalists will automatically qualify for NCAAs. Admission is free to all fans at Gabrielsen Natatorium.

LoraLie Cowart posted a career-best tournament tally of 5-under 211 en route to finishing as the individual runner up at the Valspar Augusta Invitational on Sunday. The junior from Carrollton, Ga., led Georgia to a sixth place finish in the team field at Forest Hills Golf Club.
