Lol. not gonna lie, but it definitely looked suspicious. The whole deal happened super fast. I think the window of opportunity didn't open until noon, and they announced a deal at like 1. It's possible that he knew that's what he wanted to do and the falcons new that they wanted him and as soon as the clock struck noon, the phones rang, but it's such a rare thing to agree to that kind of thing that fast.

By my count, 32 teams made free agent signings.  Only two investigations that have been published.  Granted, cousins is the biggest signing by dollars, but there were other $100mm+ signings that aren’t being investigated.  You are always right, in your mind anyway, so carry on.  I’m sure the high achieving falCONS appreciate your undying support.  Maybe one day they will win a supah bow.
