Digging a hole, planted a cherry tree. Hoed and pulled a ton of weeds for a flower bed, planted the perennials wifey bought, laid out a bunch of mulch. Felt good to be outside but my back
And legs were feeling it last night. Thank God for Tylenol

Funny, I worked for 7 hours on my 500 gallon smoker build. So sore it's stupid. I couldn't survive one football practice these days.

I did my tax return last night. I would have rather worked in your yard for 3 hours.

I miss the days when I could just take all my paperwork to my mom...

Took my paperwork to my accountant Friday. Since I began using this accountant about 15 years ago instead of H&R Block my average tax bill has plummeted from paying an average of $1500 to $2500 to getting a small refund or paying less than $500.
Just knowing the right questions to ask me to maximize my deduction makes it worth it to me to pay my accountant.

I did as well…and found out the wife paid $0 in fed taxes on a part time job she has. Was tense around here when I found that out. She seems to think it is MY responsibility to pay taxes on HER job. Pissed is an understatement.
