Graves Mountain over in Lincoln County is part of the chain that Burks Mt is in . Probably 20 miles away as the crow flies. 

Graves was heavily mined for all of it's minerals. Supposedly the world's premiere
geographical location of some of the minerals.  Rockhounds love the place . 

Family legend has it that my great grandfather owned Graves Mountain. He drank it away or lost it in a poker game. Our family refers to it as Little Mountain .

That will have to be a GNW for Lincoln County. Tee took me on his pontoon to a rock formation on the lake, can't find any images or information. What was that called, you know?

I've seen it from the river and driving over the Clark Hill dam but never have been there. It is pretty well fenced off now but back in the '70s people used to go there to drive 4WD vehicles and generally goof around.

The "mountain" in Lincoln county is much taller and really stands out from a distance. It is very visible from the lake if you are in a boat.
