The 22nd-ranked Georgia Bulldogs crushed fifth-ranked Tennessee 16-2 Friday in seven innings due to the run-rule in front of 5,575 fans at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

The No. 4 Georgia women's tennis team opened up its final regular season road weekend with a dominant 4-1 victory over No. 23 Alabama at the Roberta Anderson Baumgardner Tennis Facility on Friday.

A pair of podium performances marked the third night of competition for the University of Georgia men's swimming and diving team at the 2024 NCAA Men's Swimming & Diving Championships Friday at the IU Natatorium. Senior Jake Magahey earned his third First Team All-America citation of the week with a fifth-place finish in the 400-yard individual medley. In the 400y IM consolation final, fifth-year senior Ian Grum earned Second Team honors with a 12th-place finish. Sophomore Ruard van Renen picked up First Team accolades in the 100y backstroke with a seventh-place mark. With one day of competition remaining, Georgia sits in 10th place with 88 points.

Freshman long jumper Micah Larry posted the top collegiate mark at the Battle on the Bayou while Erin McMeniman (Javelin) and Lorel Golden (3000m) posted top-10 marks in school history as Georgia's track and field teams split time between LSU and NC State on Friday.The Bulldogs earned a total of ten top-10 finishes between Baton Rouge and Raleigh on Friday, including eight top-five marks.

The Georgia women's golf A team shot 3-over 579 in Friday's first two rounds of the 52nd annual Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic, leaving the No. 25-ranked Bulldogs in second place on the team leaderboard at the UGA Golf Course. Georgia's B Team is in seventh, ahead of two top-25 teams.

The University of Georgia equestrian team fell to Auburn, 12-7, in the semifinal round of the SEC Championship on Friday afternoon at the Hildebrand Equine Complex. Georgia will face South Carolina tomorrow in the consolation round.

The third-ranked Georgia softball team hosts No. 20 Arkansas in a three-game series at Jack Turner Stadium beginning Saturday at noon on SEC Network.

The No. 34 Georgia men's tennis team fell to the No. 20 South Carolina Gamecocks, 4-3, in a three-hour, 33-minute contest on Friday evening at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.

The No. 22 Georgia men's golf team stands alone in first place after it finished round two at the Goodwin on Friday, with a four-over-par, 564, paced by graduate Ben van Wyk, who is in first individually after his three-under 67 round.
