Pollen Count for the ATL today is 8,740 from the site I use

pretty sure I've never seen it that high before, I think low 6,000s is as high as I can remember.  It actually didn't look that bad to me on my morning walk, but I am looking forward to having some of the long overdue rain tonight.  FWIW, I don't think the pollen is actually getting worse, I think the technology used to count is probably getting better/more detailed.

The pollen in Augusta is way down compared to week before last. The little pine tree "worm" things are falling like rain now and that is a sign that the pine pollen is pretty well done for this year.

The tornadoes predicted in NWGA/SETN this evening should blow the pollen away for a day or 2.
