Give them credit, they didn’t give up.

Regardless of tonight’s outcome, it’s been a nice run to end the season.

They played hard 4 sure. No shame when a young undermanned team gets beat by a better team full of seniors. 

Wish we had a pure outside shooter. Hard to win when your roster is full of streak shooters. Maybe the NIL can get us somebody that can fill it up from outside and open things up inside. Hope springs eternal.

Shots wouldn't fall for us tonight. Now we lose some to portal and we gain some.

we won three games in a tournament we were actually lucky to get invited to, against teams that were on paper better than us, in a tournament where the final is between two teams that would have undoubtedly been in the top 4 most likely to win it from the start.  I'm very pleased - I've seen a lot of NIT appearances where we phone it in.  Given how our regular season went, this was a great way to finish the season.  I am disappointed to wake up to the lopsided final score, I was hoping we'd win another game, but I feel like we've got something to build on for the first time in a while.

That start was tough to watch. I didn't make it long after halftime. They were down about 20 when I turned it off. It looks like they kept fighting.

I'm glad they got a taste of some post season play and will end up the 71st or 72nd best team in the country.

Now we wait to see if we lose the whole team again...
