Looking back to how it all started...

Man, what a dilemma... expected starter J.T. Daniels was injured, Mathis was next in line but what an inept offense we had on the field. Kirby has to go down deep into the depth chart and bring in the walk-on.

I would have loved to have been in the coaching meeting where it was decided to start DM instead of an experienced junior. DM showed a knack for killing drives by running out of bounds a yard behind the sticks on third down or by trying to throw the ball when he could run for a first down. He also couldn't regularly hit the broad side of a barn from 15 yards.

funny thing, if you will, about the 2020 season UGA's first points:- a safety, UGA's last points: a safety againg Cincinnati in the Peach bowl.

similar with 2021 season - first points: pick 6 against Clemson, last points: pick six to seal the Natty against 'Bama.

Good ole Flippy. Forgot about him being with the Hogs.

Say what you want but I am glad Mathis was at UGA. Probably saved his life. UGA did good for him.

You are probably 100% correct.

I had to look him up and see his whereabouts. Says he went into the portal again (from Temple) and is at Delaware State.
