Still praying for Uncle John. Hope y'all don't mind me keeping this going as long as I can. It's been a big part of my life, the 4:52 club.

The seventh-ranked Georgia softball team shut out the Georgia State Panthers on Wednesday at Jack Turner Stadium, 5-0. Georgia climbs to 32-8 on the season. The staff combined for its seventh shutout of the season. Wednesday's game was also the third time Georgia pitchers did not allow a walk in a game this season. The Bulldogs are back on the road this weekend, traveling to Lexington, Kentucky for a three-game series with the. Kentucky Wildcats.

Twelve Riders on the University of Georgia equestrian team were named to the NCEA APHA All-Academic Teams for their accomplishments in and out of the arena.  An additional 27 riders received APHA Academic Honor Roll recognition, the NCEA Selection Committee has announced. The Bulldogs are seeded fifth for the NCEA National Championship taking place April 18-20 at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida.  The Bulldogs will face Texas A&M in the first round on Thursday, April 18 at 8:30 a.m.

Georgia baseball begins a Southeastern Conference series with Missouri Thursday with first pitch slated for 7:02 p.m. on the SEC Network. The Bulldogs (25-8, 5-7 SEC) are glad to be home after playing three of their first four SEC series on the road including the past two weekends. The Tigers (15-19, 4-8 SEC) swept fourth-ranked Florida in Columbia last weekend. However, they dropped a midweek affair with SIU-Edwardsville 5-4 before coming to Athens. Georgia bounced back from going 1-2 at No. 19 Mississippi State with a 15-5 run-rule victory over Kennesaw State in eight innings here this past Tuesday. Georgia and Tennessee lead the nation with 89 home runs. The Bulldogs are batting .323 with a .634 slugging percentage and .448 on base percentage.
