Dashy reported Silas Demary is staying at UGA. Also, Blue Cain and RJ Melendez will be back as well.

The RJ was actually supposed to be DJ as in Dylan James (he's back).  No word on RJ Melendez but most thinks he's gone

Excellent news about the NIL. Hope we can use it to get some players other than guys who play at mid level schools this year. Got to be prepared to play in the SEC

Yep. Got to get the right ones. Can't settle and pay to fill out the roster.

Have to get guys that are physically prepared. We have been settling for big slow guys down low and guards that are physically overmatched in league play. CMW coaches these guys to play with effort and hustle, but you can't coach physical talent. We got to have the horses that can play SEC ball.

I love UGA bball. I want CMW to succeed and win. I just want us to have a roster that can shoot the ball and is physically capable of playing a SEC slate where you have to have to play physical bball to win .

CMW is recruiting some HS talent, just want us to bring in some solid transfer talent that complements the youth we have on the roster and the youth on deck to play next year.

I would really like for UGA Bball to be good, I really would.  However, the entire history of the sport at UGA tells me we aren't going to ever be really good.  I think it is a Catch-22 thing at Georgia with basketball.  You need to have talent to have success and you need success to get the talent.  I think we are and have been forever stuck in basketball purgatory, the basketball equivalent of SCu football.  Since 1906, we are 68 games over .500 after 2833 games.  The last game I went to I looked at the "trophy case" in Stegman.  That thing should be removed, it is truly embarrassing.

This. Looking at the majority of teams in the tounamint it appeared to me that our squad was the physical equivalent of Vandy football. Small, small, small.  They looked like a JV squad.
