You can turn a program around overnight with NIL. Georgia could be a brand as big as Nike, relatively speaking, with the right leadership. We could have a hoops program on par with football. Watch how fast Arkansas becomes a Top 10 program.  Spend the fn money and let’s get good. Mike White is the definition of mediocrity acceptance. Our university, more so than just shot any other, could be the new swoosh of college athletics.

But we don't want that, we want the focus to be on Football, and Football always.

With a dip shit mentality like that, the U.S. would still be answering to a British King. I don’t expect runts like you to get it, but those who seek excellence do. I responded to your first question. Feel worthy. I won’t, however, continue to debate with dumb fucks who can’t see the first through the trees. You are a runt. Accept it.

Spend what fn money?  Who does UGA have as interested alumni with the willingness to fund all this shit like the damn Walton family and the others at Arkansas?

It ain't happening.  My fear is that when all this finally shakes out, we won't be able to compete financially with the really big spenders in college sports.

Above .500 basketball and a winning record in conference play, no matter how small the margin is, is the goal at Georgia. There are no big money alumni who care enough about basketball to fund it at the level it would take to be really good. Brooks and BM would much rather focus on packing a 95,000 seat Sanford stadium than a 10,000 seat Stegman coliseum.

The sport Georgia should dominate is baseball. The state is a gold mine of top baseball talent and it doesn't take really big money to fund a dominant baseball team.

I sure hope so.  There is absolutely no excuse for us to be as bad in basketball as we have been forever.  We sucked before the sport was integrated, that is how bad we have been.

I like how the team plays under White but we still have the worst fundamentals as a team I have seen in a D1 college basketball program.  I guess we are getting bad players because we suck so bad.  It seems like a classic Catch-22; we need good players to win and we need to win to get good players, sort of a chicken and egg thing.

I hope UGA doesn't become the basketball equivalent of South Carolina football, the place coaches go to bury their coaching careers.
