when I lived in East Cobb I'd traveled Riverside Dr and Azela Dr in Roswell a good bit.  One of those fuckers slapped my trunk.  I don't miss that route

Agreeance.  When I was in Athens for summer quarter in 1980 after my junior year, I rode my bicycle into class from Tivoli to the J School.   Mornings weren't so bad since it was cooler and mainly flat and downhill by way of College Station.  The afternoons were a whole different animal going uphill, especially since that was one of the hottest summers ever.  Even being in shape back then at age 20-21, doing those hills in that heat about did me in.

Now those electric bicycles might be a choice.

I live on the steep part of E. Broad. They either walk the bike up the hill or better have the gears right.

Summer of 80 was a pure bitch. The f'ing heat almost killed my 20 year old a$$. Thought I was bullet proof. Got up at 6 am daily to go to my summer job moving and delivering furniture. Played traveling summer league basketball games 3 nights a week in an un-air conditioned gym. Played 5 hours of tennis the other nights in that heat. Dated a fast assed N Georgia country girl and we worked on our Night Moves in between.

6 weeks of that and I was flat on my back with mono the rest of the summer. Lost so much weight that I looked like a damn refugee. But, damn I was a refugee with the biggest chit eating grin you can imagine.
