I took notice of this photo, in that...
A. The scoreboard is down on the track side of the stadium, and...
B. This is before epic NailStickDawg was added to the scoreboard. It appears that NailStickDawg was on the scoreboard through the 1978 season.
Here's NailStickDawg
This photo says it is from the 1950s. No NailStickDawg.

Damn that stadium looks good. Wish it were still that way, but I guess tickets would be so scarce and expensive.

I think there was historically scoreboards on both ends and just remembered (maybe made it up) that the nailstick dawg scoreboard was over the west end, would be just to the right of that pic.

On which end? The railroad end or the end where the main scoreboard is now?

That's the 78 GTU game. That scoreboard was on the RR track end. The RR track crew held up a sign pregame that said "Don't Fuck with Buck."

Tracks end. There was no scoreboard on the bridge end until 1980 or 1981 season iirc. The Nailstick Dawg scoreboard came down when they started closing in the East end of the stadium.
