It will be interesting to see the outcome of this. But thinking about it, it will likely be settled out of court.

Article is behind a paywall so I can't read it. I wonder if Rashada had any sort of written offer/contract with the UF collective and how can Napier be a party since the schools and programs are prohibited from making NIL deals? I hate UF as much as anyone but this seems like a Pandora's Box if players can sue collectives or coaches when the collective or coach changes their mind about wanting a player.

If the UF collective gave him a contract or written offer and both parties agreed and signed it and then the collective backed out, yes, Rashada should get paid something. If they talked numbers and nothing was ever written or signed I don't think Rashada is owed anything.
