Story makes more sense after reading that. Napier is an idiot for getting involved in the NIL thing and it sounds like the collective and the car dealer guy actually signed a contract of sorts to pay Rashada.

I hope this is a long and drawn out case with a lot of discovery that makes UF look really bad.

I just wonder how in the world we've gotten to the point that an unproven athlete is getting offers in that ball park. It does make complete sense from his perspective, he would have gotten paid a crap ton of money by Miami. It is clear that NIL has gotten way off track - they are supposed to be armature athletes that are getting compensated not for their play but for their economic value to sell merchandise or services. Having a fixed contract with signing bonus that doesn't have any relationship to that ability is of course paying for their athletic value rather than NIL. It also clearly sounds like many schools are making offers they simply don't have the money for.
