Business. I’m like a prisoner, marking an x on the calendar every day

Enjoy! I still have a few more years before I can call it a retirement.

Take some time off and then come back as a one man show doing limited work. You can make good money and avoid the PITA work. There are lots of homeowners and businesses who need a "guy" who can do basic plumbing work and will pay good money without you having to deal with service lines, septic tanks, etc..

Congratulations! I am jealous. I'm starting to see indications of retirement in the paint on the walls, carpet, furniture... I even hear it in the wind. But I may need to wait a bit longer. Thing is... I am tasting it more and more, every day.

Good for you, Plumr... I'm happy for you.
John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."

1 Timothy 2:5-6

For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the witness for this proper time.

Acts 4:12

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”
