I had a terrible record, so I stopped going. 6-14 over 20 years. That includes the Home and Home years. That year we came out in the Grambling uniforms (2009 I think) almost embarrassed me out of going back there, but I stuck it out to hit 20 and got a few more wins (all of which were close).

I went to a total of 10, we were 8-2. First trip in 1978, and went every year until 1988, except for 1980 (thanks to my brother, we got to stay home to go to his last high school football game ....grrrr).

Wife and I lived in Jacksonville from 1981-1984. Oldest son was born there.

I was at every game from 1974 - 1983 which included only one loss. I've been to others, both before and after this, but that was 9 wins out of 10 games.

I loved the the couple of 80's games I went to. The old Gator Bowl was great. Never as good after they made it a pro stadium. Bourbon on metal bleachers was the best.
