Lots of articles saying FSU & Clemson coming to the SEC…

Just as many saying they are going to the BIG.

Only thing they agree on is that both are leaving the ACC with official announcements coming as soon as July.

Another article says SEC will take North Carolina and only one of the other 2 or neither and take Virginia instead.

So the truth is no sportswriter knows anything for sure and are just speculating.  Big Grin

Where? I have seen anything but speculation and those articles are 2-3 weeks old.

Trade them for Vanderbilt and Missouri.

so tired of it all. SEC is going to become a conference I dont even recognize. Us old timers will talk about I remember when we had divisions. I think persoanlly its UNC and VA. All about being in tv markets we are not. FSU brings no advantage and SC covers an already small state. Well shall see. Just wish it would all stop.

Did they win their lawsuits with the ACC? Are they going to simply walk away and say "F You" to the ACC and not pay what they are contractually obligated to pay to leave?

I'm fading fast on college football. 2 super conferences, players as employees, unlimited transfers, expanded playoff and smaller rosters that will pretty well do away with walk ons is making "college" football much less appealing.

The SEC doesn’t need Clemson and the stink they will bring to the conference. We have a cow college to the west already.

and you my man, I understand change is inevitable. But then the change comes as a result of nothing my money and greed and woke organizations like ESPN taking the lead, it just makes it all the more hard to accept. And the whole move to a NFL model where losing once or twice in the regular season really sucks. Add to that the fact that playing in conference championship games means nothing and/or could be detrimental to your team (injuries, playoff rankins etc) makes the changes double suck, imo. Finally, its all but inevitable that teams are going to beat other teams in the regular season only to have to fac them again in the playoffs with a winner take all scenario. The day we beat Florida or Tennessee in the regular season only to lose to those POS schools in a playoff scenario will be the day I stat watching cricket. Go Team India.
