Depends on where it is and how accessible, and whether or not they are doing plenum or anything along with it, but I'd estimate 7 hours based on the one I had done this time last year.

DAMN! The lower unit is easy to get to in the basement garage. Doesn’t mean it’s easy to work on, I guess. Attic is typical. 2 story with a drop stair. Plenty of room to stand. Just hot as balls.

Guy replaced a second story attic air handler in a rental of mine..he was in there 6 hrs in July..unit barely fit through the fold down stairs..he earned it.
