Bullochdawg's Nanner Puddin' - (Not your traditional nanner puddin')
#1
Banana Pudding
Ingredients
• 3 bags Pepperidge Farm Chessmen cookies
• 8 bananas, sliced
• 4 cups milk
• 3 small boxes (3.4 oz) instant French vanilla pudding
• 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
• 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
• 1 Large (16-ounce) container Cool Whip
Directions.
Mixing: In a large bowl, combine the 4 cups of milk and 3 boxes of pudding mix and blend well using a handheld electric mixer. Mix on medium for about two minutes.
Note: Just use the 4 cups of milk for the pudding, not per the directions on the box. It will be thicker, but will end up with the right consistency once it’s mixed with the cream cheese mixture.
Using another bowl combine the softened cream cheese and the can of sweetened condensed milk together and mix until smooth. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended.
Assembly: Line the bottom of a 10”x14”x3” dish with cookies and layer ½ the bananas on top. Pour ½ the mixture over the bananas and smooth out evenly. Add a second layer of bananas with the remaining bananas. Pour the remaining mixture over the top and smooth out evenly. Top with the remaining cookies.
Your pan will be full, but it should all fit.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
