Three very "Atlantic Coast" oriented schools.

College football (sports in general) had a good run.

That's just dumb and will be cost prohibitive for a lot of sports.

Stanford has won so many National Championships in so many sports, they would be an asset to any conference. Stanford has won 136 NCAA team national championships, the most of any NCAA Division I school. Stanford has won these NCAA team championships in 20 different sports.

I thought a bunch of the old Pac-12 schools were going to the Big Eleventeen? Not them, I guess.
John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."

1 Timothy 2:5-6

For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the witness for this proper time.

Acts 4:12

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

Two of the three I guess would be considered academically elite schools, and many of the AyeSheShe schools like to consider themselves in that category as well.  Apparently geography is exempt at those institutions.

Yeah, yeah, I know.  "What about Missouri?"  Didn't want 'em...didn't axe for 'em.  Fock 'em!
"But, we didn't come up here to take shots. We came up here to throw 'em." - Kirby Smart 11/13/2021
