I have never understood the appeal or entertainment value of tormenting or hurting an animal. I hunt but I only hunt what I want to eat. I'll never understand why people hunt big cats, elephants, rhinos, etc..

If I can't eat it or use for clothing I won't shoot an animal except to protect my family or livestock.
I've shot a couple of raccoons that were attacking my chickens, but even those I gave to an acquaintance that makes things from the fur.

I'm there with ya on that. I love to hunt but hate the actual killing. Love to eat it enough to make it worth the kill, tho. Do my own cleaning and butchering of everything I kill.
