Headed to Beaufort for sandbar concert tomorrow...

Went a couple years ago, did a boat trip from Charleston down to Beaufort that morning.  Staying in Beaufort this year.  This event would be a great JMU creeper pics opportunity if I did such things.

No Cheesney or Cheesney cover bands so smokin has no interest.  Pat Cooper is the "headliner", no idea who the opening act(s) will be.  Openers are usually local bands that are pretty "meh".

The boating and girl watching are the real draws, both of those things are top shelf.  Boats from Savannah to Charleston come for the day.  This is the opening weekend of the annual Beaufort Water Festival that runs until July 21.  There is another concert Saturday night in the park on the river downtown, Parmalee is the headliner, they have that "Feels Like Carolina" bro country song.  Other than that I know nothing about them.  I won't pay to go to that concert since I can hear everything perfectly from the back of the bars on Bay Street that look out on the waterfront park and I won't be making a late night of it.

I don't love the bro country music but I don't absolutely hate it and the boating and scenery make up for any shortcomings in the music offerings.
