Charlie Condon made history Sunday evening as the highest drafted Bulldog ever selected in the first round of the Major League Baseball draft. University of Georgia infielder/outfielder
Corey Collins was selected by the New York Mets Monday afternoon in the sixth round with the 173rd overall pick of the 2024 Major League Baseball Draft.
The Bulldogs have a string of 51 straight seasons with at least one player signing a professional contract. Also, Georgia has had at least one player drafted going back to 1987.
