Both the Georgia men and women's track and field teams as well as 19 individuals have earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic honors, according to a recent announcement. The Lady Bulldogs finished with a cumulative 3.52 GPA, while the Georgia men posted a 3.31 GPA.


Fifteen Bulldogs, including a league high six on the First Team, were included on the 2024 Preseason Media Days All-Southeastern Conference Team, according to a league announcement Friday. Senior quarterback Carson Beck, junior running back Trevor Etienne, senior offensive lineman Tate Ratledge, senior defensive lineman Nazir Stackhouse, junior linebacker Mykel Williams and junior safety Malaki Starks were named to the First Team. Second Team Bulldog selections included senior offensive lineman Xavier Truss, junior offensive lineman Dylan Fairchild, senior linebacker Smael Mondon Jr., junior punter Brett Thorson and sophomore receiver/returner Dillon Bell.  Junior defensive back Daylen Everette, senior receiver Dominic Lovett, junior tight end Oscar Delp and redshirt sophomore Earnest Greene III concluded Georgia's selections after being voted to the Third Team.

McKenzie Lantz has been promoted to the associate head coach of the Georgia equestrian program, head coach Meghan Boenig announced on Thursday. As a Bulldog, Lantz was a two-time NCEA All-American and SEC Rider of the Year. Lantz has served as the head of recruiting and coaching of both western events, Horsemanship and Reining, since 2021. The 2024-25 campaign will mark her fourth season with the Bulldogs.
