I wonder what may become of this? To be honest, I haven't heard (yet) of any Georgia high school players being lured to play at school XYZ for NIL money. Maybe that is what is being addressed, here? I dunno. What is an "NIL collective"?
Georgia high school athletes can no longer earn money from NIL collectives
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."
1 Timothy 2:5-6
For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the witness for this proper time.
Acts 4:12
And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

Classic City Collective, I would think, is a “NIL collective”

GHSA probably setting themselves up for a lawsuit they can’t win.
If any state allows an NIL collective & a Georgia player leaves the state to make money it will cripple the game in this state.

Thought they had to attend the school in district where they live and can't just choose a school they want to play feetsball for.

HS NIL seems like it would be a hotbed of cheating in private schools.

Also, it is becoming a lot easier now to transfer between schools. One of the factors in counting study body enrollment is how they count out-of-district students. They used to have a rule to say that if someone transferred to a school they would have to have a legitimate in-district address, AND sit out a year. They then started allowing out-of-district students. Parents who wanted their kid to play under a certain coach would get them enrolled while in middle school to get around the obstacle of having to sit a year. I see players transferring a lot more frequently than they used to. I have no clue what are the details of the rules anymore. I just see it happen, a lot.
Who was that QB.... Jake Garcia? He was at Valdosta ... moving here from California... and was ruled ineligible. He immediately moved and began attending Grayson, and something changed (something with his parents?) and, voila, he was eligible, that very same football season. Grayson won the Class AAAAAAA state championship that year.
