I’ve heard it’s pretty awesome. Haven’t been to a theater in 8-10 years. This one might get me there…maybe.

Thanks for the info!

I would bet it is....never saw the original, but this is about a couple of gung-ho people who are, for whatever reasons, involved in jumping right into the paths of tornados that are ravaging the land, and they come out of them pretty much unscathed.  So, yeah, I'm sure it's a remake.  Never saw the original, but in this time of horrible and unimaginative ideas for movies, this one might be at least a small reason to go to the theater.  After all, movies are ALWAYS better in the theater, especially ones with great effects.

Having been in 2 real tornadoes, I'm not sure how I would do watching it on a movie screen.

The name of the movie is actually Twisters and they're calling it a "stand-alone sequel," so it's not really a remake, just a whole new cast with the same foundational story of storm chasing.

Haven't seen it yet, but from my understanding it's a continuation of the previous movie.  They reference those characters in this apparently.

Love the comments from folks that haven't seen it lol.

They do a great job of nailing several youtube storm chasers and their fans.

Very entertaining movie and zero climate change agenda pushed in it!
