This is the author.

The "sports website" publishing these stories is outsourcing their reporting to freaking India.

I'm guessing he doesn't know shit about what is going on in Athens, nor does he know what any "fans are demanding."

all valid points - Kirby is in no danger of losing his job or his support of the fans. But he needs to nip this racing thing in the bud. I can't believe after losing a teammate's life and the damage it did to Carter's draft status that these guys are still racing. At some point, that's got to be someone's ticket out of the program.

Absolutely that is an issue.  I don't understand why they are so dumb to keep doing it, but what is he going to do?  If the death of a teammate isn't enough to sway you from doing it, will the threat of being kicked off the team?

I'd venture to bet that all top tier teams have their fair share of crimes and arrests. Unfortunately, it goes along with the culture of a great many of the top tier players. And the author can GFH, imo.

Do note that it is Msn.com link and I called it garbage in the posts title. MSN is also mainstream.

Point is that the story (and those like it) is out there and this is yet more crap that CKS has to deal with. Routinely.

Has to wear on him.

Maybe it would.  At this point, it hasn't been tried.  And I get it - Kirby knows what he is doing.  But my guess is he realized with this last incident that his team doesn't fear the consequences, and he's going to have to make it clear the next guy caught is going to be made an example of.

Kinda different but word among those that would know expect RaRa 2 be gone. Could turn into a locker room issue tho.

Rara is almost certainly gone.  I'm more concerned with the racing.

Looking at his profile and other stories, it's a wonder he could remove himself from Deion's crotch long enough to write that hatchet job on Kirby.

Supposedly they are getting hit hard with fines to NIL monies with moving violations

That article does not exist in a vacuum and you can bet that he has to deal with these in the living rooms of recruits......OR you can miss the point entirely....

The only fans wanting Kirby gone are from other SEC & BIG10 schools.
