I’ve never understood the draw if Christmas Vacation or Chevy Chase. The movie has maybe a couple of laughs, but Chase has just never been funny to me. As an old theater manager, there are just some movies that get carried on through time as being considered a classic comedy, horror, or heart-tugging movie. CV is one of those, and I just don’t get it. But that’s okay.
