I see one every now and then. I don't see the appeal of them at all. They look ridiculous, like something from a 1950s space movie. If I had to have an electric p/u I'd get an F150 but really don't want one of those either.

I saw somewhere, maybe here, where raccoons were trying to break into one thinking it was a dumpster. I'm sure that's fake, but, it was funny.
Those things are interesting, but, just plain ugly.

i see it as a replacement for people that buy Honda Ridgelines, not 1500 style trucks.
No way you can pull a heavy load for very long with that thing. Would kill the battery.
They look ridiculous. I see at least a couple everyday between Buckhead and the northern suburbs.
They are overpriced and not hugely practical. I've watched a couple of series on social media where folks try to use them like real truck or otherwise put them to the test. They come up short. They have a lot of neat features, but they also have things that don't work yet. They'll be a fad, like the Hummer H1 or even H2. Already a lot showing up at auction or used car lots, which is amazing since they only really started delivering them within the last handful of months.

It to the original question, I see the cyber trucks a good bit in my area..

You have no clue..I wouldn’t say that if I haven’t been involved with the one my Son has for a work truck..it’s been perfect for his companies needs..you do need a home charger though, which he has.. stick to shot out hair bands.

Serious question…is the degradation of the battery an issue? Like a phone, I think you can only charge and deplete the battery so many times, and it gets weaker before going kaput.

Griff, he has no issue with battery degradation..
Toasty, it will haul more weight than a GMC Sierra Denali pickup..we saw the Denali not be able to drive off the lot from Super Sod with a pallet of Zoysia in the bed. owner was scared to move it, he said no way the EV truck could handle it..all the while we picked up our second of the day. So much power you literally can’t tell it was back there. 3500 lbs or so. If he was hauling big tall trailers in sub zero weather, it might not be the best choice.. He didn’t notice any change in range this past winter during that cold snap..it does have the Pro Battery..it will power his house if he needs it to. He travels from Peachtree City as far as Dalton north and Columbia to the south..he has never had to charge anywhere but home. It saves his company around $500 a month in gas.. The acceleration is other worldly. I take it you have have never been in one, or powered tools with one, etc.. Not every vehicle suits everyone’s needs….

I've only seen a couple in the Chattanooga area and since I saw them on different days, I could have seen the same one twice.
