Postal Service is awful these days. Saw a substitute carrier today wearing a t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and a pair of closed flip-floppy things. Just a DGAS “uniform”. What the hell has happened to these people??
Let me guess…a convergence of DEI and Affirmative Action?

I think all cards get sent to a place that they scan for cash before they are delivered..

I read a news article where a postmaster at some town in either Illinois or Indiana had been arrested. They found that he had stolen something like 487 gift cards, taking them before they got processed into the mail system, and taking them home and checking them for money, gift cards, etc. They said they ranged from birthday cards, Mother's Day cards, all sorts of different holidays. Some of them had family photos in them, personal things like that. He was charged with a felony. I forget the details but he had a minimum sentence of at least a couple/few years in prison, with a maximum of quite a long time. They said that he had drug problems, gambling problems, debt issues, blah blah blah. What on earth was he doing serving as a postmaster over a post office?

It isn’t the same post office my grandfather worked for. He was the asst. postmaster for years in a smaller, middle georgia post office.
