Stet threw 4 picks today but had a great 2 min drive

And a damn incredible last second TD throw. Rams win.

Just like the script. It's uncanny how the guy makes plays. Throwing picks early in your career isn't a bad thing. QB in the NFL is an incredibly tough position to play. He can take some lumps behind Stafford and try to get better. It's a luxury for him in a sense that he's not fighting to start. Despite missing a year I wouldn't shovel dirt on Bennett's pro career. He makes big plays.

Stet is a winner. The Rams coach from Marist High school in Atlanta knows that.

If he can limit the BS (and INT's) he still has a chance.   It's like I said below, yesterday was what you get all in one package with him.   All the things you mention above are spot on.   But, NFL teams aren't going to put up with 4 INT's in a regular season game...not to mention, you'd likely not have a chance to win after that.

I'm pulling for the dude...despite how hard it is sometimes.  That cat has used about 6-7 or his 9 lives.  I seriously doubt the Rams are going to keep giving him rope.  That TD went a long way in erasing a horrible day.  He needs to come back with a solid game.

Also, your point about not being a starter anytime soon is HUGE!

SBIV is going to be a great NFL qb. The Rams would be smart to keep him and let him develop behind Stafford. Stafford is 36, the end of his playing days isn't that far away. SBIV should be about ready to step in when Stafford walks away.

Steve Smith and Baldringer were the analysts at halftime. Smith was very dismissive of Trey Lance.  Basically said he can't play.  But even though Stet had several INTs at the time, they both said his issues were easier to fix.  They said they thought he was trusting memory instead of his eyes.  In other words, against my team when we ran this play the defender did x.  So it's going to be open now.  Even though the teams defender did something different.

Pretty sure they keep him on the roster, I think Garaffalo is suspended the first couple of games. New three rule QB on the roster allows them to dress and only play if the first two are hurt.
