Granddaughter had a bit of a rough day playing softball…

For the Gordon Lee Middle School team. Had an error in right field, dropping an easy pop fly. Got on base every at bat. Had a single and a double, but got hit by the pitcher her other 2 at bats, once in the hip and once in the ankle. She had to come out of the game after her last at bat after getting hit in ankle.  30 minutes later she was walking just fine.

They did beat Heritage in 8 innings 9-7, tied 7-7 after their regulation 7 innings.

Nobody's perfect..glad her ankle is OK. I have a cousin that played at Tennessee Tech and ended up the head coach for a while...she was all state pitcher in Georgia.
