I just read that Etienne is cleared to start against Clemson.

Did I miss the part of the article that backed up the claim in the headline?

I remember when KY's Tubby "Born Traitor" Smiff got UGA's discount Dennis Rodman. Chris Daniels, suspended for the first half.  Daniels logged a double double with bounds and trash baskets in the 2nd half and dribble dawgs beat a highly ranked Cat team

I saw that article. I hope it's correct.
I'm sure a whole bunch of gamblers would like to know his status with 100% certainty.
He is probably worth at least a touchdown in the final score, whether he scores it or his run sets it up for someone else.

Sorry Roga. The title is misleading and untrue.

Would love to be wrong in this one. (I’ll eat the crow). But, he isn’t playing.

Always room for something to change I guess. But, the word is Jerre took this one out of Kirby’s hands.

Agreed. The article says absolutely nothing to support the headline.
Only a guess, but I've always thought he wouldn't play. Maybe in the second half, but not the first.

I wonder if the article is leaning on info from an AJC article (that I won't link), from 1 day ago, which says that UGA's policy would allow Etienne to play on Saturday? I guess that technically means he is "cleared" to play. But that doesn't mean that he is playing.

There is a little more info in this article, which also doesn't give anything conclusive.
