Buy a nice gift instead of a suit and skip going to the wedding.

Honestly, you can’t beat Men’s Warehouse. I’ve tried.
Unless you want to pay $700+. Go there and don’t look back
You won’t have time (likely) but, their custom suits are pretty awesome.

Dillards is where I bought my last one, I like their brands (because they fit me) and prices are reasonable, plus they have good seasonal sales IMO.

I buy suits at a local men's store that has been in business about 60 years. They stock nice suits, have reasonable prices and know how to tell if a suit fits you properly or how to alter it to fit properly. They aren't cheap but they aren't super expensive either. A good suit is worth spending some money on. They generally last a very long time and a cheap suit looks cheap.

I go to the Banks store over in Surrey Center. There’s a wheeler-dealer, sharp dressing black dude that works there and knows his stuff. I tell him what I want and don’t want, and he throws it all together, based on my requests and “body type”. Suit, couple of ties, couple of socks….and then gives me a “discount”. Great customer service.
