With Love for Uncle John Always!
Woof™..........
The Georgia women's golf team shot an 8-over 576 across 36 holes to open the Cougar Classic on Monday as sophomore Emma Falcher led the No. 28-ranked Bulldogs to a share of fourth place following the tournament's opening day. After two rounds at the Yeamans Hall Club, Georgia is 12 shots off the lead with 18 holes to go on Tuesday. The Bulldogs currently lead two ranked teams, No. 18 Ole Miss and No. 20 Florida, and will look to close the gap with No. 10 Auburn and No. 13 LSU when play resumes in the morning.
The more things change the more they stay the same. The Bulldogs have not allowed any points in the first half and just six total points (two field goals) on the year.
Georgia has an SEC and school record streak of 27 consecutive SEC regular season wins.
Georgia has a 15-game winning streak in an opponent's home stadium, which leads in FBS. The streak began in 2020 with a 14-3 win over Kentucky. Georgia last fell at No. 2 Alabama in 2020.
Georgia's current streak as the No. 1 team in the Associated Press (AP) poll is at three weeks.
