you missed the Red Head Chili Peppers then, though they might have been at The Uptown Lunge. People were leaving without parts of their clothing, literally. REM in 1985 or 6 at 40 Watt was probably my favorite show their and I attended Widespread panics first ever show in the front yard of the Phi Delt house on G Day in 1985.
