UGA is pretty much doing the same thing, raising donation tiers, overall ticket prices, and parking is essentially the same thing without saying it outright. Right now it is cheaper to pick and choose games you want to see and buy on the secondary market than buy season tickets. I'm waiting for schools to try and exert control over how you can sell your own tickets.

I think the electronic ticket thing was the first step in schools being able to control what people can do with their tickets.  They can track exactly where a ticket went now and it would be easy enough for them to flag a ticket and not allow it to be used if they wanted to.

Ticketmaster already does that and captures additional $ on the re-sell.
