Amen !!

I have been expressing my gratitude daily to the men that working like Hell to restore power to my little burg.

My street continues without power. Helene left a tangled mess a couple of blocks down that is going to require a new pole and transformer. All the tension lines are down, as well. These guys have been working like Hell to get it restored this morning.

These guys have been making the best of this situation. They are funny and very friendly. Great guys that you would love to have a burger and beer with

Linemen are blessing to those they help get power back on, but unfortunately also a blessing to knee replacement surgeons.

The doctor in Chattanooga that did my wife's knee replacement told me that nearly 90% of his knee replacements to men under 50 were to former linemen. Climbing those poles with spikes is terrible for the knees.
