Well ain't that nice of the SEC.
What the SEC needs to do is fine the referees for incompetence and/or firing.
And stop selling alcohol in the stadiums. Return it the way it was intended. Sneak it in.

$250K is chump change to Texas. 100K+ in the stadium for the game and millions paid to individual players in NIL. SEC is a complete joke when it comes to officials and how it handles teams.

What do the fans care? They got what they wanted
They'll do it again without hesitation.

As long as the SEC is going to let fans of programs officiate their own games...what do you expect?

They probably spent $250K on the drones and light show during the game. That threat will have zero impact on anyone in the SEC.

Texas athletic department had revenue of $271 million in 2023 with a $122 million surplus.  I'm sure they are worried about paying a $250K fine.
