I don't think I've ever seen him either, but that album in the 90s was awesome. He got his start in Athens. Some tie between him and Michael Stipe's sister...

Saw him a couple of times. He played the Atlanta Winery with a full band around 6? years ago. Hated to hear about his stroke. Richard Lloyd's guitar work made that first album. The dude he played with in Atl did a good job trying to mimmick those disjointed guitar solos. Hope Mathew heals 100% then has some more fun.
