He is old as shit, sounded growly and the band was a little off, but he is one of the few humans on the planet that I would have my picture made with. I did, in fact have my picture made with him in Branson, MO. My sister found the ticket (autographed) and for the first time I was reminded that Merle Fucking Haggard opened for him that night.
He sang about death a lot last night. I think he's getting very close. He did sing the banger of all bangers tho

Seen Willie many times, but not in about 7 years. I don't want to see him like this though. I do believe he would be perfectly happy to die on stage.

You will probably be very glad you went after he is gone. Still kicking myself for never seeing Johnny Cash.

I've seen Willie twice but it was a long time ago. I'm glad I saw him when I did and I want to remember him that way. I saw him on tv a few months ago, he looks ancient, I guess he is at 91.
I was able to see Waylon once too. He put on a really good show.

Waylon focking rules. I wish I remembered Merle Haggard being there in 92. I do remember seeing Willie that night and waiting in line with my sister for an autograph and polaroid.
