The outdoor technician is here today running the optic cable from pole to the house.
The indoor technician will be here between 8 and 10 AM tomorrow.
Then I can officially tell Xfinity to go jump in the creek. Their lousy service the last several months meant TV service would only work on 1 TV, several channels weren't working almost everyday, and in the past 5 years over 10 channels that used to be part of my package became subscription only with a $5 to $8 per month charge.
With their Silver package it will cost me about $30 more per month with EPB Fiber Optic than I was paying, but my internet speed will be 3 to 4 times faster and I'll have access to about 50 more TV channels including several more sports channels.
