ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Georgia volleyball team defeated the LSU Tigers in four sets on Sunday afternoon at Stegeman Coliseum. Georgia is back in action on Friday against the Tennessee Lady Vols. First serve against the Lady Vols is set for 7 p.m. at Stegeman Coliseum.
HILTON HEAD, S.C. — Anastasiia Lopata secured her first pro singles title after winning the ITF Hilton Head W35 singles final at the Van Der Meer Tennis Center on Sunday. The Bulldogs will be back in action on Nov. 1-2 with select players set to compete at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Twenty-three combined shots taken between both sides came down to one score as the University of Georgia soccer team (7-5-6, 3-3-4 SEC) fell 1-0 against Texas (13-3-2, 6-3-1 SEC) before 1,685 spectators at the Turner Soccer Complex on Sunday. Georgia will now prepare for the SEC Tournament with its opening round match set for Sunday, Nov. 3 in Pensacola, Fla. Match opponent and kickoff times are TBD.
