rank the difficulty of our remaining schedule, mine has change
#1
since the beginning of the season and even in the last few weeks.

Florida
Ole Miss
Tenn
Tech
UMASS

Those top three are pretty much equal to me. Only have FL there because of the rivalry aspect and I don't think that is enough.
I really think when we win this weekend we end up 11-1. I read in a discord room that if A&M and LSU win out they will play a rematch in the SECCG.
I have zero idea of the tie breakers and don't really care as 11-1 with our schedule we would still ranked in the top 4 with a bye. Winning the SEC title isn't the deal it used to be with the expanded playoffs. Having a month of is more important.
The only scenario that makes the SECCG matter anymore to me would be going into it with two losses and a win propels you into the playoffs.

Looking at the remaining games, we can only beat ourselves which I know we are capable of doing with turnovers. If we play clean I really feel like we win all the remaining games easily.
Looking forward to the next three weeks for sure.

Byes go to top for Conference Champs, not top four teams.

Here's a breakdown of the SEC tie-breaker from Reddit:

Not playing in the SECCG could actually mean playing one less game on the season. If we played in the SECCG and lost, we would still most likely make the 12 team playoff and end up playing 17 games if we were in the CFP championship game. If we don't play in the SECCG and still make the playoff, the most games we could play would be 16.

If the winner of the SECCG makes it to the championship game, they will play 16 games.

Fifth seed then which is a home game. Not bad at all.

I'd rather Dawgs be SEC champs than an at-large. Can't do that if they don't make it to Atlanta

My preferences are:

1.  SEC champ
2.  Fifth seed
3.  Make the playoff in general

SECCG is cool if we win because that guarantees a playoff birth. If we play the game with two losses and lose, most likely no playoffs.
Ranked top 12 with two losses and NO SECCG, in the playoffs.
One loss and no SECCG is fine with me.

I am only concerned with the playoffs.

Pulling for #1..the Todd needs the donation.

That said, I think UT is the toughest out we have left, then Ole Miss, then UF.  Conference wise...think we all knew some crazy tie breakers would come into play with 16 teams and no divisions.  11-1 and a home game as non conference champs vs some chump isn't a bad consolation prize.

I will pay the Todd cheerfully.  If we go on to win a NC, I will pay the Todd again, cheerfully.

The Todd gets paid either way, the only question is by whom.

why even have an SEC Championship? Total waste with the playoffs. Means nothing. Can make our seeding worse, risk injury to players, play in yet ANOTHER game. What is the point?

Actually. Think it will be harder to win the National Title with this new playoff, another good team to beat..going to be an interesting next 3 games for sure..if we win it all, I’ll split the $100 with you.

Makes it harder to win a natty though
Do away with it and use the rankings and committee for the playoffs

I agree.  Might have to play the SECCG opponent twice in the post season.  Also might have to face a really good team you beat earlier in the regular season again even if they aren't in a conference championship game.
