Both of those incidents looked like the same deputy was involved. Admittedly, one is farther away from the camera, so they may just resemble each other, but in the closer one, he pulled out his taser and had it in his hand and it actually fired into a seat because he was going to the ground with the Florida fan he was trying to apprehend. That could have gone so much worse. He could have hit a bystander.

Of course we don't know what led to either event, but the guy was over the top in his effort to remove those guys from their seats. I've never seen anything like those events in a stadium. Usually there's a little back and forth and they escort the person out, but the punching in the face and the back of the head seemed excessive. Neither of the fans were armed and neither were making any effort to go after the deputy's weapons.

I certainly hope at least in one incident that punishment is rendered. And not to the victim. Truly uncalled for, by the law. In my humble opinion.

Typically, I’m on the cops side on these things. Folks usually deserve the ass beating. But, using handcuffs for brass knuckles on a dude that was unarmed and not trying to get your gun is a pretty gross misuse of force.

Both videos I saw looked really bad.
