ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia women's tennis team is set to host one of four ITA Sectionals nationwide starting on Thursday, Nov. 7 running until Sunday, Nov. 10 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. ATHENS - The No. 7 University of Georgia's equestrian team travels to the West Coast for a pair of meets against UC Davis on Thursday at 12:00 p.m. ET before competing against No. 7 Fresno State on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. ET.
ATHENS, Ga.-----Georgia's 2025 baseball season begins on Valentine's Day in Wilmington, N.C. as part of a four-game series with the Seahawks. Georgia's home opener at Foley Field, which has undergone a $45 million renovation over the past two years, will be Thursday, Feb. 20 against the University of Illinois Chicago. The Bulldogs will play a 56-game schedule in the regular season with 33 contests at Foley Field and 23 games on the road.
ATHENS, Ga. --- Safety KJ Bolden has been included as one of 14 semifinalists for the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award, according to an announcement Wednesday. Bolden, a first-year defender from Buford, Ga., is one of five players from the Southeastern Conference represented. While fellow Georgia safety Malaki Starks was a finalist for the award in 2022, former Bulldog tight end and current Las Vegas Raider Brock Bowers was named the winner of the 2021 Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award.
