It took 5 hours and looks like shit, but I’m still a beginner. I was able to get it sharp enough to cut paper so it is mildly useful.
But the steel used for these is pretty much a shitty grade anyway.
Much, much more to learn. It’ll take years if I choose to keep going.

Nice, Junk! I got a friend that makes those. The trick is to find the good RR spikes with the right metal.
At least that’s what he told me when I brought him a 5 gallon bucket of spikes.
