So I guess we haven't practiced the 2 point play all year?

If he does, it may very well be his undoing. Bobo isn't the biggest problem but, he's not going to win you a championship.

well, he's playing for one Saturday.  Let's see if he wins it.

The board may implode when we win Saturday...whatever happens, it will be Bobo's fault..  Smile

Dawgnation not ready for an up and down year. Been too fat and happy the last few seasons. Hell, some are saying another "down year" and Kirby's seat is going to get hot unless he makes changes. Can you imagine a more laughable statement?

That's just stupid.  The guy probably works harder than any other head coach in college football right now.  I worry more about the day he decides to retire than him getting fired.

My interpretation of "Kirby's downfall" and the Bobo comments is more about how Bobo will stand in the way of continued success, not that it will lead to Kirby's firing.  I don't think anyone would advocate for that.  I trust Kirby to make the right decisions.  If anyone/anything causes Kirby to get fired, it will be the court of public opinion and the AJC over "disciplinary issues" and traffic tickets, and car accidents, and assault allegations...

There is no way he ever gets fired unless there is some major scandal.  He is the best head coach in college football right now.  If fans like us can see the problems you know Kirby can see them.

"I hope Kirby makes some sound decisions in the off season. If he doesn't, and this shit show continues, he will start feeling some heat. I hope he does whatever it takes to correct all the mistakes these 4 and 5 star football players are making."

Sounds like hot seat talk to me. The shit-show being a 2 loss regular season and a trip to Atlanta for the SECCG and being all but a lock for the CFP. LMAO

One quote from one person does not a comprehensive perspective make.

Gulfport would have to tell us what he meant by that, but again, you interpret it the way you want.  One could also say he could get heat to make changes to staff.

I've seen it on other message boards. Probably just bad wording in this case.

I took it as pressure to make changes to the staff.  No one with a brain could possibly think Kirby is going to be in any danger of losing his job.

Dropped passes and bizarre offensive play calling.

If we play like that Saturday, it might be 34-0 at the half.

I'll admit, I left early.  It's rare that I do that, but thus far, it's the only game I regret leaving early.  I left after Tech scored to go up 27-13 with about 5 minutes left.  It was cold.  There were some drunk folks behind me driving me nuts not keeping a single thought in their head.  It was a lady and two guys.  The lady sounded like she had never seen a football game before.  When she asked "what's a touchback?" after the preceding kickoff in the 4th, I'd had my fill of her and the drunk dude she was trying to hook up with who didn't know shit about the strategies of football.  Every week it seems the people sitting behind me and screaming in my ears get trashier and dumber.  The kid sitting next to me bolted right after that touchdown, so I just followed for some reason.  I was pissed.

Anyway, I got home an hour and a half later in time to see the last two OTs which is wild.

I just knew we were going to have a flawless game against Tech.  I kept hoping they would figure it out.  At half, I was like, "they gotta play better in the second half, right?" By the time I watched them go up 27-13 with ease, I just knew we wouldn't come back, and I didn't want to sit there and watch those assholes tear off chunks of the hedges as souvenirs.

I'm glad they pulled it off, and to hell with all of those folks chastising the "fair-weather fans" that left early, and complaining about it not "being a good look."  First of all, I pay for my tickets every year.  They're my seats.  I can do what I want with them and decide how to use my time.  Second of all, I have been going to games for almost 40 years.  Calling me a fair-weather fan for leaving that game early is laughable.  What were you doing in the 90s?

I had seats through the 90's and some of those seasons were just fucking MISERABLE!!! Now the 2000's - 2010 had ups and downs but there were some great days spread here and there. Sometimes a win over a rival goes a long way to soothe the pain.

Serious question, I haven't researched it, but who since the start of last season has lost less games than UGA?  Conversely, who has won more?  I promise you it's a short list if there is one.

I do know UGA's record is 23-3 over that time.  I'll hang up and listen.

Just a guess but I'd say Oregon and Texas

Texas is 23-3 over the last two seasons.  Oregon is 24-2.  Can't find anyone better than Oregon.
